Rough Night (2017)

  • RATING: 6.2/10

  • REVIEW: Rough Night is a decent movie but only for viewers who can tolerate comedy in somewhat serious situations. It’s one of those movies with a fast-changing atmosphere, which means a funny scene quickly drops into a tense one thus changing moods really fast. Scarlett Johansson, the bride-to-be, was the best at her role and did a great job by staying in character for most of the scenes, but the rest of the cast, not so much. The movie has a somewhat crazy plot involving booze, drugs, a male escort and some wild parties but things start going out of hand when the male escort is accidentally killed by the bachelorette group. Apart from the rapid scene changes, the movie is filled with random lame jokes and you wouldn’t be missing out on much if you decided to skip watching it.
